Who we are
GeminiSolarDesign, LLC operates geminisolardesign.com and provides solar PV and battery-storage design services. For questions about this notice or your information, contact jay@geminisolardesign.com or (609) 802-5743.
Information you provide
When you contact us or request design services, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, company information, project location, equipment and design requirements, and files such as drawings or photographs. We also receive information you send in follow-up emails and other project communications. Please send only information relevant to your inquiry or project.
We use customer contact details to answer inquiries and carry out customer projects, including discussing requirements, preparing quotes, coordinating design work and communicating about revisions. We do not use those contact details for newsletters or marketing lists, and we do not sell customer inquiries as leads.
Website measurement and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand website use and Google Ads measurement to understand whether advertising leads to inquiries. These services can receive information about your browser and device, IP address, pages visited, referring website or advertisement, and interactions such as form activity. They may use cookies or similar identifiers. Our Ads setup measures visits to the confirmation pages shown after successful form submissions.
Google may also use information from participating websites for its services and advertising, including personalization where permitted by the applicable settings and choices. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies or scripts may affect website features or measurement. Browser privacy settings and Google’s controls do not necessarily stop every type of data collection.
The website also loads fonts from Google to display its text. Your browser contacts that service when requesting those fonts.
Form security and service providers
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated spam and abuse. Cloudflare processes technical signals, including IP address and browser information, to provide and improve bot detection. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Information is processed through the services we use to operate the website and handle projects, including website hosting, WordPress forms, email, file storage and backups. Inquiry information may be stored in website form records as well as email. These services may process information on their systems; their own privacy terms also describe their practices. This operational processing is separate from selling inquiries as leads.
How long information is kept
We currently have no fixed deletion schedule for inquiry emails, customer communications or project files. These records may therefore remain in our systems and backups after an inquiry or project ends.
Our current Google Analytics setting retains user-level and event-level data for 14 months, with the user retention period reset by new activity. This setting does not govern our customer files, most aggregated Analytics reports, or all information retained separately by Google.
Questions and requests
Contact jay@geminisolardesign.com to ask about information you have provided or to request access, correction or deletion. We may need to verify your identity. We will review requests in light of applicable law and any project, legal or recordkeeping obligations. A request may not result in immediate removal from all backup systems. Any rights available under applicable privacy law remain in effect.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as our website or practices change. The effective date at the top of the published notice will identify its latest update.
